« Parfait comme base de rayonnement autour d'Udaipur »
Un hôtel qui correspond tout à fait à sa classe dans un bâtiment de style, au dessus d'un lac. Chambre spacieuse, petit déjeuner très bien, nous avons diner aussi le soir et c'était très bien aussi. Nous avons utilisé le véhicule de l'hôtel pour aller à Ranakpur et la forteresse de Kumbhalgarh et le service était impeccable (même si c'est évidemment plus cher qu'un taxi). Bref parfait pour un séjour de plusieurs jours à Udaipur. La navette est venue nous chercher à l'aéroport.
Le service à la réception est parfois un peu passif pour un hôtel de cette catégorie. Ainsi quand nous avons demandé un taxi pour aller en ville, le préposé à la réception nous a répondu que l'hôtel n'avaient pas d'accord avec des compagnies de taxi. Bien sûr dès qu'on sort de l'hôtel on trouve des taxis ou des tuktuk (Rickshaw) et on peut appeler un Uber mais ce n'est pas une réponse correcte d'un hôtel de cette classe.

Had a good stay. But the above issues kept it from becoming an execeptional one.
Well maintained legacy palace building that overlooks the Fateh Saheb lake. Nicely located. Rooms are well appointed and service is excellent.
While one expects insite restaurants to have high prices, the small portion size came as a surprise. The Indian breads were really small and the curries portions too were much smaller than what one would expect in hotels of the same level. Some Ground floor rooms are at street level and this is a privacy issue. Though our room had a lovely view of the lake, we had to keep the blinds down for privacy.
